Website and telephone payments Sunday 19 May
Our website and telephone payment systems are unavailable between 9am and 2pm on Sunday 19 May. You will not be able to pay for any council services on our website or over the phone during this time.
Youth Councils across the county give young people the opportunity and support to work on the issues that matter the most in their own neighbourhoods.
Our local Youth Councils enable young people to get involved in local decisions, and influence change in their own communities. We support you to come together both virtually and in person, amplify your voices, and to have a say in the issues which affect you in your own neighbourhoods. By joining your local youth council you will meet other passionate, innovative young people, and have the opportunity to become actively involved in democracy.
Each group meets regularly through a combination of virtual and in person sessions, is led by an elected Chair and Vice Chair, and is always open to new members. If you are interested in joining your local youth council, please email nyvoice@northyorks.gov.uk.
