Countryside - events
In a county as large and diverse as North Yorkshire, there is a wide range of events taking place throughout the year, including rural and agricultural shows, festivals and farmers markets. You will find a list of the major forthcoming events on the website.
North Yorkshire County Council's Economic Development Unit works with a wide range of partnerships within market towns and within the food sector, and with communities across the county, to help them gain access support and experience sharing opportunities. In addition, we organise events to provide new market opportunities for the local producers of and to promote community development activity.
