Finding the library, parking and access
Coming along the A19 from Selby, turn left at the roundabout into Barlby and carry on to the Barlby/York road. Take the first right after Barlby Community Primary School and head into Howden Road. The library is situated on the left.

The library is on Howden Road, two doors away from Howden Fisheries and the New Inn. There are two bus stops nearby served by Arriva buses 412 and 415.
There is a large car park at the rear of the building with space for 15-20 cars. The library has automatic doors at the front of the building and all areas are accessible to wheelchairs.

The library hosts a book club on the first Tuesday of the month, starting at 6.30pm. Read it - share it. Come along and try a new book each month.

Creative writing course
The library hosts a creative writing course every other Tuesday from 6pm, covering stories, poetry, plays and more.
There is a storytime for pre-school children every Friday afternoon from 2.30pm.
