This library is now managed and operated by volunteers working in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council.

Library opening hours

  • Monday - 1pm - 7pm
  • Tuesday - 9.30am - 5pm
  • Wednesday - closed
  • Thursday - 9.30am - 5pm
  • Friday - 9.30am - 5pm
  • Saturday - 9.30am - 1pm
  • Sunday - closed

Finding the library, parking and access

The library is located in Woodfield Road in the grounds of Woodfield Primary School and in the same building as Harrogate Bilton Children's Centre. The nearest bus stops are on Woodfield Road for bus number 2A.

There is a car park at the front of the library available to customers, including disabled parking bays.

The library is accessible to wheelchairs. Cycle racks are also provided.

Reading group
There are two reading groups at the library:

  • On the last Thursday of the month at 7.30pm; and
  • On the second Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Storytime
We hold a weekly storytime for under fives on Tuesdays from 10am - 10.30am (including during school holidays).
