Finding the library, parking and access
The library is conveniently situated next to the pay-and-display Station Avenue car park, behind the bus station and next door to the surgery. The bus station is served by the number 120, 121, 118 and 845 buses. There is a train station nearby that is only a five minute walk away.
There are five parking spaces available to library users behind the building and an additional two parking spaces for disabled users.
The library has automatic doors and all areas are accessible to wheelchairs. In addition to this, a hearing loop is available. The library also has a toilet equipped for disabled users (Radar key) and baby changing facilities. Special software and additional hardware (such as keyboards, lap tray etc) are available for those with special needs.

The library hosts a Chatterbooks Club for eight to 12 year olds. Please contact the library for details.
Home library service
The home library service operates fortnightly from the library, serving Filey and the surrounding area.
Information technology taster sessions
The library holds information technology taster sessions to introduce people to computers and the internet.
Our reading group meets on the second Friday of the month, from 5.30pm - 7pm.
There is a storytime at the library for under-fives every Wednesday during term-time, from 2pm - 2.45pm.
