Finding the library, parking and access
If approaching from Leeds or Boston Spa and entering Tadcaster on the A659, follow this road onto Station Road. The library is on the left before the pelican crossing.
If approaching from the east side of Tadcaster, turn right up St Joseph's Street and then turn left at the top into Station Road. The pelican crossing is then in front of you and St Joseph's School is on the right. The library is situated on the left of the school as you face it.
There is a bus station which is about a two minute walk from the library - the coastliner bus stops here.
There are no specific parking spaces for the library, although there are two spaces on the road opposite. There is further parking in the sports centre car park, which is further up the road and clearly signposted.
There is access to all areas for wheelchairs and there is also a hearing loop. The library has an automatic door.
