In North Yorkshire, housing services are provided by the seven borough and district councils or their corresponding housing associations.

The North Yorkshire Strategic Housing Partnership works with local authorities and other organisations with the aim of delivering more good quality affordable homes; make better use of existing housing stock; and to facilitate better, more accessible, housing services and choice for residents.
