Proposed alterations to the Whitby controlled parking zone

We are consulting with residents and businesses within the Whitby controlled parking zone on the potential for replacing two hour disc parking with three hour disc parking, as well as the potential to operate the controlled parking zone during the period 1 March to 31 October only.

At the Yorkshire Coast and Moors area committee meeting on 23 July 2015, it was agreed that we would undertake a public consultation on the proposals. We are required to consult with those directly affected by the proposals so that their views can be given, whether positive or negative. Letters have been sent to relevant residents and businesses.

However, we invite anyone with an interest in the scheme to use our online form below to comment. Any comments received via other forms of communication during the consultation period will also be considered

Depending on the outcome of the consultation, this could mean that one, both, or neither of the proposals are taken forward.

Anyone who has responded with comments will be advised of future meetings and information about public access will be advised if applicable.
