Learning disabilities strategy consultation

A consultation on the first draft of the joint learning disability strategy (plan) between North Yorkshire County Council and local NHS clinical commissioning groups.

We have been listening to and working with people with learning disabilities, their families and their carers. This strategy is based on what you have told us so far; your views are important to us and we would be grateful for your time and input in completing the questionnaire that will help us to develop the strategy further.

Give us your views

We would like you to consider the following questions when completing the questionnaire:

  • Are these the right priorities?
  • What's working well now?
  • What needs to be better? and
  • What are your ideas for making things better?

Your responses to this questionnaire will remain anonymous. Thank you for sharing your views.

Deadline for comments

The consultation started on 8 December 2015 and will end on 28 February 2016.

We will be arranging to meet with various groups to gather questionnaire responses, for example the learning disability partnership board and carers forum.

A summary of the overall feedback and how this influences the final strategy will be made available following the end of the consultation. We aim to launch the strategy in April 2016.
