North Yorkshire flood appeal

The North Yorkshire flood appeal fund supports people who have been affected by the recent flooding in North Yorkshire.

The fund has been set up by Two Ridings Community Foundation utilising donations from individuals, local businesses and charitable organisations with match funding from the government.

What support is available?

Grants are available for essential household items and repairs. Consideration may also be given to other costs incurred through flooding including any shortfall in insurance payments. Typically initial hardship grants are a few hundred pounds but may be more in exceptional circumstances. Groups may apply for larger grants, typically up to £10,000. The Community Foundation recognises that after the initial period, additional needs may become apparent and further applications to the fund will be accepted after one month (dependent on funding available).

Where can I find more information?

For further information, including how to apply for funding and who to contact with any queries, please visit the Community Foundation website.

How can I contribute to the fund?

For businesses or individuals wishing to make a donation, Two Ridings Community Foundation is accepting donations via the North Yorkshire flood appeal website.
