Carrier bags

You can take carrier bags or plastic bags, free of charge, to all our household waste recycling centres.

These are not currently recycled and need to be placed in the waste for energy recovery skip.

Most supermarkets offer carrier bag recycling in store, please check locally.

Compostable bags and compostable packaging should not be placed in to the garden waste skips or your household garden waste wheeled bin. This packaging can be composted in your home compost bin.
