Glass windows

You can recycle glass windows and greenhouse glass at all household waste recycling centres.

Glass windows and greenhouse glass need to go in the hardcore and rubble skip. 

If the glass window is in a PVC frame, remove the glass from the frame before you come to the household waste recycling centre. Place the frame in the waste for energy recovery skip and the glass in the hardcore and rubble skip.

Disposal of DIY waste is free, but there are restrictions on size and amounts that can be brought in, and the number of visits you can make each week.
