The York and North Yorkshire Road Safety Partnership is a group of local authorities, emergency services and other agencies that work together throughout the county to reduce the number of people killed and injured on the roads.

The partnership includes:

Formed in 2004, the campaign aimed to save 95 lives between 2005 and the end of 2010. The initial campaign officially ended on 31 March 2011, by which time 126 lives had been saved. Its success meant that the partnership decided to continue working together, with the aim of continuing to reduce casualties and collisions year on year. Visit the Roadwise website for more information
