North Yorkshire County Council Adult and Community Services and Children and Young People's Service aim to promote social well-being through support to individuals, families and communities.

Individuals will be helped to live independently and safely within local communities through the equal provision of information, advice and care services.

Communities and family units will be enabled to support themselves and we will provide protection for the most vulnerable in our society.

Access arrangements to social care services

All telephone enquiries, e-mails, letters, faxes and text-phone messages are dealt with by a single team of customer services officers, who are highly experienced in social care.

This service is available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. Please see the customer services centre page for more details.
