What are these services?

Public transport

The integrated passenger transport team work to support, improve and co-ordinate North Yorkshire's public and school transport network. The team provides contract transport services for a range of clients, mainly through contracts with commercial bus, coach and taxi operators.

The Public transport - information and advice page provides detailed information about each of the public transport services available in North Yorkshire.

In some towns and villages there are demand responsive services operating. In general these services can be found where there is not a scheduled bus service and will only run when people need them - in most cases they must be booked in advance.

Bus timetables are updated on a daily basis on the timetable information page, here you are able to view and print timetables for any bus service in North Yorkshire by searching for a town, village, school or route number.
