Whether you are a visitor to North Yorkshire or a resident, there are plenty of opportunities to take part in the arts in North Yorkshire.

The county is home to a wide variety of arts organisations and creative practitioners providing creative activity for people of all ages: festivals, galleries, community arts, arts in health, public art, creative businesses as well as arts venues ranging in size from the internationally respected Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough through to a theatre in an auction mart and small village halls with regular arts programmes. This covers all art forms: from theatre to music, visual art to public art, literature to dance, photography to digital art, carnival to crafts.
