School - 14-19 area prospectus
The Department for Education (DfE) requires all local authorities with responsibility for education to produce an "area-wide prospectus" for 14 to 19 year olds.
The 14-19 area-wide prospectus is a web-based, searchable database providing details of all 14-19 learning opportunities available in York and North Yorkshire. It can be used, in conjunction with guidance from the youth support service, to enable young people (and their parents) to make informed choices about where and how they would like to undertake their learning after Year 11. What does the prospectus provide?You can: - view some of the 14-16 and all the post 16 courses on offer in North Yorkshire;
- view all the providers in North Yorkshire; and
- find out providers are holding open days and events
Where can I find this the area-wide prospectus?You can find out what learning opportunities are available in North Yorkshire by visiting the Futures 4 Me website and also now the UCAS Progress website. For guidance or advice contact ask your Connexions personal adviser or careers adviser.
