From festivals to fine arts and family days out, MORE ARTS is a campaign to help everyone find out about the many opportunities there are to take part in the arts.

The campaign includes audience research, a marketing training programme, a press and media campaign and guides highlighting a wealth of opportunities across North Yorkshire.

As well as making it easy for residents and visitors to take part, we hope that the campaign will benefit arts organisers by increasing their audiences and will result in a stronger and more positive profile for the arts in North Yorkshire.

MORE ARTS is supported by the region's seven district councils and is co-ordinated by the county council in order to raise participation in the arts and increase the percentage of people over 16 years of age who engage in the arts three times a year or more, to over 50 per cent.

How you can support the campaign

You can  use the MORE ARTS logo on your arts activity [282kb] as well as taking part in some of the many arts opportunities happening across North Yorkshire from  family activities [1Mb] to exhibitions, music festivals and art trails and many are free.
