Each year, between 60 and 100 ships from 15 to 20 countries take part in the event and up to one million people are expected to visit Hartlepool during the event. At least 15,000 park and ride car parking spaces will be provided per day along with space for 200 coaches, 500 blue badge holders, 500 motorbikes and 500 bicycles.
