With hundreds of popular fiction and non-fiction titles to choose from, the new collection is guaranteed to have something for everyone. You can download best-selling novels, well-known classics, self-improvement guides and much more.
Getting started - accessing the digital libraryTo download titles from the digital library all you need is your library card number and PIN. You can then browse both collections and follow the simple instructions to issue and download titles to your PC, Mac or other mobile device. Once downloaded, titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including the Apple iPod, Sony Reader, Kobo and many others. Some audio titles can also be burned to CD to listen to on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period so there are no late fees! Joining the libraryYou need to join the library to access the digital library. For more information and to join online, see the Libraries - how to join page. Loan of ebooks is only available to customers who are living, working or studying in North Yorkshire.
