Bus pass - older peopleEligible older and disabled people are entitled to free off-peak travel on local buses anywhere in England. You can apply for a bus pass either in person or by post. You must apply to the local authority where you live.
Responsibility for issuing the passes changed from the seven district councils to the County Council on 1 April 2011. However, you may still be able to apply to your district council office.
