North Yorkshire County Council welcome applications on a speculative basis for some of our re-occurring job roles. We do this by inviting applications to a talent pool for particular job types. When recruiting managers have a vacancy for this job type managers will perform a search in a talent pool to see if there are any applicants who have applied for this type of work on a speculative basis and will invite these candidates to interview for the role. Applicants therefore increase the likelihood of gaining a position for this job type by registering and applying to our talent pools.
