Community transport services

There are over 100 community transport schemes in North Yorkshire providing demand responsive and accessible services.

The motability scheme provides disabled people with safe, reliable and affordable personal transport, using their government-funded mobility allowance.

Patient transport services help non-emergency patients to and from their hospital and clinic appointments, if they are unable to arrange their own transport. They also help patients to get home after being discharged from hospital.
