Libraries - teenagersThere is a lot available for teenagers in North Yorkshire's libraries. We have books and other resources to help you with your studies. If you want to relax then we have the latest DVDs and CDs available. Some libraries also have areas for you to sit and chat with friends or do research and all libraries have free access to computers and the internet.
See what is available for teenagers below. Books, DVDs and other itemsThere are many books, DVDs and CDs for teenagers in our libraries. We also offer magazines, newspapers and graphic novels. All our stock is regularly updated so you can easily find the latest hit movie or album to borrow. As an added bonus, if you don't manage to return a book on time, the fines for teenagers are much less than the usual rate. Homework and studyWe have lots of resources to help you with your homework and studying, both in our libraries and online. In your local library In addition to books on GCSE and A-level studies, you can use the computers at your local library to create and print documents as well as do research on the internet. If you are a library member and aged 17 years or under, you can use the computers for free for the first hour. Photocopiers and scanners are also available for use at many libraries.
