What are these services?

In-year applications

Sometimes children need to move school at times other than at reception, year 6 transfer to secondary school or transfer to middle schools. We call these in-year transfer applications.

If you want such a transfer, you should contact the admissions team in Harrogate, who will explain the procedure and send you the appropriate information and preference form to complete. Staff will advise you to visit the school you want your child to transfer to and will also advise you if there are likely to be places available at the school.

If there are no places in your child's year group at the school, you will have the right to submit an admission appeal.

For information about which schools were over-subscribed last year, visit the relevant area page below and download the area guide (which is available beneath the 'useful downloads' section).
