Advice for choosing a school - support for parents and carers

If you have a query or need help regarding admissions, school transport and free school meals, initially you should contact the relevant team in Harrogate where staff will be able to help you.

It is very important that you complete and submit/return the common application form on time, to ensure your child's place at a school.

If you are experiencing difficulties which mean your child cannot go to school or get the full benefits from their education, you can get support from a home-school worker or an education social support worker. Your child's school will be able to give you their telephone number or contact them on your behalf.
