There are a number of important dates that you need to be aware of if you are applying for a school place.

National offer day (secondary)	1 March 2013
Primary offer day	16 April 2013
Secondary admission appeals to be heard between	April and June 2013
Primary admission appeals to be heard between	June and July 2013

Ripon selection parents' evening to be held at Ripon Grammar School	3 July 2012 (7pm - 9pm)
Skipton selection parents' evening to be held at Ermysted's Grammar School *	5 July 2012 (7pm - 9pm)
Closing date for entry for testing	17 August 2012
Familiarisation tests	7 September 2012
First actual tests for all pupils	11 September 2012
Second actual tests for all pupils	14 September 2012
Selection scheme results issued on	17 October 2012

Selection scheme non statutory reviews begin	January 2013
