What is an Internet Service Provider (ISP)?

An ISP is simply the company providing your broadband connection to the internet. Some companies also provide other bundled services such as TV and telephone too, for example Sky, BT or Virgin Media.

There are many potential providers of broadband services, each of whom offer different deals and packages. It is worthwhile researching the market to identify which deal best suits your needs.
