What are these services?

What if I feel my child has special social or medical reasons to go to a particular school?

You should complete the relevant section of the online application form or the paper application form, and you must provide evidence to support your reasons for choosing that particular school by the closing date for applications.

Please contact the admissions team if you have difficulty meeting this deadline.

Evidence should be from a professional person, for example, a letter from a doctor, psychologist or social worker, demonstrating that your child's needs can only be met at your preferred school and setting out the difficulties that your child would face if they had to go to another school. Failure to provide this evidence by the closing date will mean that your application will not be considered under this admission priority group.

For applications to community and voluntary-controlled schools, a panel of professionally qualified people will consider these reasons.
