Can guests take photographs and video of my marriage or civil partnership ceremony?

Yes, your guests are very welcome to bring cameras to record the occasion but please ask them not to take photographs during the actual ceremony, as this can be distracting.
If you wish to use video cameras to record the ceremony please ask the registrar for advice about where the operator should stand. If more than one video camera is to be used, please discuss this with the registrar.
