Maintenance of road markings

Road markings are subject to considerable wear. All our roads are inspected at least annually for safety, this includes identifying any markings that are badly damaged or degraded.

We are happy to receive notification from members of the public about any road markings that are fading or missing. Any reports will be investigated and included in the programme subject to work priorities. Higher status roads will have more priority as they carry more traffic and have a higher safety benefit.
