What are these services?

How much does it cost to apply for a tourist sign?

A non-refundable application fee of £100 is charged for assessing each request.

If your application for tourist traffic signs is successful, any signs provided will be at your expense; this signing is not funded by the County Council. This will include all the costs which relate to the provision and installation of the signs and a fee to cover design, supervision of erection and administrative costs. You will be given estimated costs for the provision of signs before you have to submit your final agreement for the installation of signs.

Any future costs to repair or replace signs as a result of theft, vehicle damage or general wear and tear will be expected to be met you. Where more than one tourist destination is indicated on a sign, then the cost of repairs or replacement will be shared equally among the operators of the destinations.
