How do I report a problem with road condition?

You can report a problem with the road condition through our online fault report form or through contacting our customer service centre on 0845 8 72 73 74.

To report a problem you must be able to provide the following information:

  • The road location, number/ name
  • Any identifiable landmarks in the area which is causing concern
  • A description of what is causing the road condition to be of concern, for example:
    • Pothole or surface depressions
    • Cracking in the surface
    • Collapsed / subsided road
    • The surface texture material being removed or failing

Your concern may relate to one of the following separate requests:

  • A concern about recent surfacing works
  • Mud or debris on the road
  • A spillage or substance on the highway
  • An obstruction on the highway
