My road has recently been resurfaced and the lines haven't been repainted, why is this?After loose chippings have been placed on the carriageway they must be embedded to form a stable and hard wearing surface. This is achieved by the action of traffic using the road.
The new surface is left for 14 days to allow the chippings to embed and any residual chippings need to be swept before we repaint the lines on the carriageway. |
