How do you decide what roads will be part of the surface dressing programme?All surfaced roads for which the County Council is responsible are surveyed over a two year period, using either machine or visual surveys.
The data obtained is processed and analysed through an accredited pavement management system which produces recommended treatments for any given section of road. This will identify a programme of works for the following and future years. |
