Is there a charge for collision data?
Members of the public in North Yorkshire are allowed 1 free standard collision data request in any one financial year.
If additional requests are received, individuals will be charged the officer time spent in the production of the data.The cost of this is based on how large an area the data is required for, and how many years data. A minimum charge is £27.50, the tables below provide further detail. Requests which are being used by commercial concerns such as transport consultants, solicitors or insurers are chargeable to cover officer time.
