What are these services?

Will transport be door-to-door?

If your child is attending the normal school and is able to use school transport, we will expect them to make their way to a bus stop near to home (accompanied as necessary), where they will join transport going to their school.

If your child is attending the normal school and is unable to walk due to their special educational needs (SEN) and they have a statement, we will assess their needs and may provide door-to-door transport if they need it.

If your child does not have a statement and is unable to walk due to a medical condition, we will ask you to provide written medical evidence. If the information given indicates this is not a permanent condition we will review it on an annual basis (or more frequently, if necessary) and may ask you to provide additional information.
