List of current confirmed emergency road and bridge closures in North Yorkshire

In the event of an emergency such as severe weather, we will update the list of road and bridge closures in North Yorkshire below.

Last update: 9.15am, Thursday 28 March 2013

The county council's highways teams are continuing to deal with the ongoing wintry conditions. Some minor roads in upland areas remain blocked, but there is access to all communities. The operation will continue as long as necessary. Progress in clearing snow is being hampered by strong winds, which are forecast to continue this week.

For the latest traffic news relating to motorways and trunk roads e.g. A19, A66, A64 please visit the Highways Agency website. You can also check the BBC Travel website.
