What are these services?

Regeneration projects

North Yorkshire is predominantly rural with a number of important market towns and also some more urban areas like Harrogate, Selby and Scarborough. Regeneration in North Yorkshire reflects this diversity with areas of rural development and community regeneration as well as urban regeneration schemes.

Regeneration projects

The County Council works closely with the York, North Yorkshire & East Riding enterprise partnership and district authorities to ensure the county benefits from regeneration projects.

Market towns

The Council also supports networking and collaboration between market towns so that towns can learn from each other and develop joint projects. For more information visit the market towns page

Assisting rural communities

The County Council delivers several programmes to help develop sustainable rural communities including development of skills, employment, conservation and tourism. For more information visit the assisting rural communities page.

European social fund (ESF) technical assistance fund

The York and North Yorkshire ESF technical assistance project seeks to support the co-financing organisations in delivering the aims and objectives of the ESF regional framework.

This project is part-financed by the European social fund.
