What are these services?

Citizens' panel

The citizens' panel is a group of approximately 2,000 people from across North Yorkshire. The panel share their views and ideas which help us understand local people's priorities and preferences. This helps us inform the decisions we make on your behalf, and ensures we provide high quality, value for money services.

The panel was established in 2004 and is one of the most important ways by which we consult with our residents. Over the years we have asked the panel about libraries, customer service, recycling, highways and transportation, community safety, social care and our council plan and budget priorities.
