Special educational needs - disabled students allowance
These allowances are intended to assist students with disabilities attending full-time and part-time higher education courses to benefit as fully as possible from their course. They are designed to cover special equipment, non-medical helpers and other general expenses.

If you are attending full time or part time further or higher education you may also be eligible for a 16-19 bursary. The 16-19 bursary is intended to assist students with and without disabilities to remain in learning and to benefit as fully as possible from their course.
