Below are the school term and holiday dates for community and voluntary controlled schools for 2012/13 and 2013/14.

Voluntary aided and foundation schools set all of their own dates.

  Some schools adopt slightly different term dates to those below.
  You should contact your school to confirm your dates.
  Occasionally schools need to close due to bad weather or loss of utility (gas, electricity).

Term dates

Term and holiday dates - academic year 2012/2013

3 September 2012 and 5 November 2012 are nominated teacher training days. Schools are able to set a further three dates of their own. Please contact your school to confirm your dates or pdf icon view this list [26kb] [pdf].
