Special educational needs - information for parents

All children and young people deserve a fair start in life and we are committed to giving every child the opportunity to reach their full potential. These pages of the website provide information about what we do in North Yorkshire to offer additional help and support to children and young people who have special educational needs or who are disabled.

We work in partnership with families, schools and other relevant agencies to provide a wide variety of support and aim to ensure that all children and young people have access to provision which is appropriate to their special educational needs or disability (SEND).
