What are these services?

Youth projects - volunteering

Opportunities for volunteering for young people in North Yorkshire are generally coordinated by the network of the community service volunteer bureaux, in conjunction with the North Yorkshire and York forum for voluntary organisations.

The 4Youth service provides a volunteer training programme and opportunities for volunteer work with younger groups.  For further information contact your nearest centre using the details below.

The Duke of Edinburgh award scheme also offers opportunities for volunteer work. The award is a challenging programme of activities (including physical recreation and expeditions) which helps young people learn new skills, help others and experience adventure. More information about the Duke of Edinburgh award is set out below.

Please note - the new youth support service is currently being formed and this page will be updated to reflect the changes in due course.
