Land and premisesCounty Searches Information of North Yorkshire Highways & Transportation is responsible for the maintenance of the List of Streets maintainable at public expense created under Section 36 of the Highways Act 1980 together with the Register of Village Greens and Common Land created under the Commons Registration Act 1965.
Responsibility also rests with this Section for replying to Con 29 Local Authority Highway Searches and Con 29 (Optional) Question 22 Commons Searches, as well as enquiries from members of the public and their legal representatives.
