The library is in Bedale Hall, at the end of the High Street opposite Bedale Church. The library can be found at the rear of the Bedale Hall building. There is a bus stop on the High Street.
There is parking for 20 cars including two disabled spaces. Alternative parking is available on the Market Square and in the car parks behind the shops on both sides of the High Street. Some assistance may be required to help wheelchairs enter Bedale Hall, but all areas of the library are accessible to wheelchairs.

Information technology taster sessions
The library holds information technology taster sessions to introduce people to computers and the internet.
Storytime
There is a storytime for pre-school children every Friday afternoon from 2.15pm - 2.45pm.
