What are these services?

Libraries - sale of old books and publications

Book sales of discarded library stock are often held in North Yorkshire libraries.

Please contact your local library to ask when they may be holding a sale. These sales can on occasion continue over several weeks.

You might pick up the bargain book you had always meant to read.

Other sale items include:

  • Postcards and notelets of historic North Yorkshire: 40p each excluding postage & packaging
  • Photographic prints from the Unnetie Digital Photographic Archive website and the Rowley Collection website: £6 excluding postage & packaging (links supplied below)
  • Family history booklets at various prices
