- ARC-Addington Fund
The ARC-Addington Fund is one of the Farming Help charities and helps maintain the economic and social fabric of the farming community. The helpline number is 01926 620135.
- Farm Crisis Network
Practical and pastoral support for farming people. Telephone 0845 367 9990 (7am to 11pm every day).
- Farming Help
Farming Help brings together three national charities which work to benefit the farming community. Each charity provides different but complementary forms of help and support to meet a wide range of needs.
- Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution
Welfare and financial assistance for those involved in the farming industry. The helpline number is 01865 727888.
- Samaritans
A 24-hour confidential phone service for anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair. You can also get in touch by e-mail, letter or face-to-face.
- Yorkshire Rural Support Network
Supporting rural communities throughout Yorkshire. The helpline number is 01423 546217 (available Monday and Tuesday with a 24-hour answerphone).
