Home careHome care, sometimes called domiciliary care, can help you to remain living independently and safely in your own home. There are many different types of support available, depending on your individual needs.
You may require home care for different reasons, such as: having a disability; general frailty due to old age; following a hospital stay or a fall; or simply to help you regain confidence in living independently. Community alarm servicesAlarms for vulnerable people living in the community are provided by your local district council or housing association. Incontinence laundry serviceLaundry services for people who have problems related to continence are available in some parts of North Yorkshire. See the incontinence laundry service page for more information. Meals on wheelsWe do not have a direct involvement in arranging, delivering or subsidising meals on wheels services.
