What are these services?

Residential care for children

Children's residential units ensure that the needs of young people are met when they cannot live with their own family, for whatever reason. They are a place where young people who are between the ages of 13 and 17 are enabled to develop into independence and their adult life.

Children's residential units care for young people with many differing, complex needs and each young person is treated accordingly. All young people are individuals with unique needs and the staff at the units will work with the young people and their families to ensure they receive the best opportunities in social, health, education and leisure.
